center stand and chain was created by CTSZ1
For those of you that own a Z1 or other bike that has gone from a "4 into 4" exhaust to a "4 into 1" exhaust, what do you use to keep the center stand from contacting the chain? The PO of my bike made a terrible looking thing out of a piece of strap and a bolt. Can't stand to look at it. I'd appreciate any ideas and even pictures if possible.
Thanks

The center stand I bought has a triangular piece of metal that fits on the bolt and acts as a stopper.
This prevents the center stand from contacting the chain.
It looks like a small tiangle with a hole in the middle.
I'll try to get a picture, but its hard since its on the bottom of the bike.

I welded a short piece of metallic conduit to the center stand and coped it to fit against the frame tube that supports the stock mufflers.

My Kerker came with a U bolt that goes through the Center stand mounting bolt holes, with the U looping downwards. There are two rubber stops on the U for the kickstand to stop on.

I cut off a open end wrench and bolted it to the frame, looks pretty good and works great!
