how do you feed the chain through the front sproket? do i hook a link through the new and old chain and feed new through???????????????????????help
You have to take the cover off to get to the front sprocket.
Hmm... and from the way you worded this, I have to assume you didn't replace your sprockets. I don't know if you know this, but if you put a new chain on old sprockets, it's just going to stretch it right out....

My bad, I assumed that you were changing the chain because of it exceeding the service limit for wear/stretch. So you're just replacing it because its rusty? That's fine... nevermind what I said about sprockets...the sprokets only have 4000 miles due you really think they need to be changed? only have bike a month still rebuilding, but decided since was sitting since 88' to change chain. it seemed fimed fine just a precaution, but never even thought about the sprokets.
