They really are easy to assemble, and you're sure you get the lengths right.

I make my own with Earl's parts I get from MG Cycle:

Hey OnkelB, farmer fred, and others who make their own... Can I use my existing BOLTs for the banjo fittings if I get the new banjos? I know I need new washers...
I'm liking the "Earl's Brake Line Components" on the MGCycle.com page...
I'd better email them...
Regarding a '78 Kawasaki KZ750 Twin front brake line replacement, here's my shopping list from "Earl's Brake Line Components" from www.mgcycle.com/brakelines.html
8 Ccopper crush washers, $0.75 each = $6
2 #600503 30 degree adjustable banjo fitting - 2 x $16.50 = $33
1 #600803 30 degree non-adjustable banjo fitting - $12.25
1 #600703 straight non-adjustable banjo fitting - $10.50
3ft #6000031 clear plastic covered braided stainless steel brake line - 3 x $7.75 per foot = 23.25
Total = $85

Yeah, no problem provided you get the correct banjos - the KZs like most (if not all) jap bikes use 10mm banjo bolts with a 1.0 metric pitch, as far as I can tell the ones from Earl are the same (you better ask them though).
