KZ\GPz 900 front end swap? was created by warrenva
I recently got my hands on an old GPz900 or ZX900 front end, which ever one it is, it has the 16" front wheel on it and I would really like to use this front end. Has anyone here ever tried to use one or know of someone who has? Please help, and thanks in advance!

First thing you could do is take a look at the Steering Bearings article in the FileBase section and see if the bearings are anywhere near the same. If the bearings are different (they probably are) then you can contact All Balls as they carry bearings for custom swaps.

That is the front i have on my bike. I have a "79" LTD.
The bearings are the only trouble you will have.
I can't post a pic at the moment. Roy

Since the GPZ/Zx900 uses the same bearings as a ZR7 (according to the list anyway), here is a thread that gives you all the info including cost for the bearings.

The above info is good for the 650, 750 twins and fours, and the 1000's through 81, so I figured as long as he wasn't talking about a 400/440 I had it covered
