will 82' ltd sidecovers fit '83?

I see a pair of 1982 kz1100 ltd sidecovers on ebay, and want to try and fit them on my same model '83 bike. will they fit?

You have a 1983 KZ1100L model. It was only made that year. I suspect that the listing on eBay is in error. If it is a 1982 model then it is a KZ1000K2 model. You need to explore what the seller actually has for sale.
