can anyone tell me why my tach and speedo light arent working at all? any idea?

Burned out, broken wire, bad connection, take your pick. Remove the cover on the gages and pop out the rubber holders that hold the lights and take a look.

Assuming you've already checked the bulbs, the common ailment is a broken wire in your harness. Certain places in the harness they use wire splices. In other words one wire is basically crimped to 2 to "T" off wiring 2 ways from 1. These splices are a major problem with wires breaking. You can either open your wire harness and find the break or simply parellel another wire from a working bulb to one of the nonworking.
