1980 z1r speedo question was created by ldzpstnr
How high are the mph's suppose to go on my speedo? I am curious to see if I have the right one in my bike or not. It only goes up to 85 mph.
Oh and how hard is it to replace the light in the speedo's?

I think your speedo is original. As far as replacing the light bulb... hehehe good luck! I had to disassemble my speedometer to get the light bulb out as I could remove it otherwise. Mine was from a 79 LTD (85 mph).

Alright cool. Was worried someone changed out the speedo.
Too bad it only reads 85... wish it read higher like 140. But hey that means the miles are original.
It'll be fun replacing that light I bet.
