STARTER PROBLEM was created by MBFMGP
this is actually not a kz problem but a problem with my kids suzuki gs850.
any advise is appreciated.
anyway the problem is that the starter will at times not crank the engine very hard even though the battery is charged up. then after trying for a while it will all of a sudden crank the engine real well so it doesn't seem like the battery even though initially it will crank really slow and not enough to start the bike and from all outward appearances it acts just like a dead battery. i just can't figure it's the battery as then it cranks like crazy sometimes other times it has to be jumped. only thing i can figure is that the starter is bad.
anyone ever run into this on any bike?
thanks in advance.

either a weak starter or a failing solenoid
