speedo replacement was created by Kawbeach749
My speedo was wobbling back and forth from 70 - 80 mph.
It wouldn't go any higher and at lower speeds it wasn't the steadiest needle either. Any idea what that was?
Anyway I ruin the speedo wotkin on it. Will a speedo from a 76 kz750 work on my 79 kz1000 ltd?
thanks for any response.

25005-1031 SPEEDOMETER ASSY,MPH KZ1000-B3
25005-1067 SPEEDOMETER ASSY, MPH USA KZ1000-B4
According to www.buykawasaki.com
I guess the B3 is a 79 and the B4 is an 80?
25006-052 SPEEDOMETER,MPH KZ750-B1/B2/B3
B1-B3 = 76-78 750 twin.

25005-1031 I found these part numbers on buy kawaski.
25005-1067
Couldn't find any numbers on my speedo. The 76' speedo in question is on ebay, and the owner dosen't know if it'll swap over either.
WIRE MAN: If you could send me a picture of your spare speedo, Ill let you know.
By the way im also having a wobble around 6 grand, and a loud nosie problem around the same rpm with my tach, Didn't have the problem before the rebuild so, maybe I did somethin wrong. Replaced tach gear drive in motor, and cable is in good shape. Any thoughts? thanks
