I want my turn signals to flash faster

Not adjustable. I never timed mine, but it's probably arond 100/minute. Before I switched, I think they were blinking at about 10/minute.

Unless the guy in the car rides, chances are real good that he doesn't see anything smaller than the car he is in.

After reading this thread, since my flashers had a similar problem with blinking REAL slow, I went out and bought an electronic flasher for $10. Hooked it up, and now my turn signals flash perfectly!!! Much better.

Not necessarily. When I bought my electronic flasher, I saw another one that looked just like the one I already had on my bike (short, silver metal case), and the price was only $4.00. It had "Heavy Duty" stamped on it, but I don't think it was the same kind of setup as the electronic one I bought for $10. I may be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

FWIW, the one I bought had a transparent casing, and I could see the circuit board inside.

Do you remember where you got that one? I like see-thru electronics. If you have a model #, that'd be great!

I am not at home right now to check for sure, but I know that it is a Bussman flasher.

Scroll to page 18 of the PDF, and look at part number 232. It is similar to that.

What is nice is that it's round shape allowed me to slip it into the orginal rubber strap.

I asked for the Bussman at Advantage/Discount Auto, they didn't have it. But they did have the Tridon EL12 for $9.44. Now they work great!
A note to anyone doing this; the orange wire goes to the X, brown goes to L.
