I want my turn signals to flash faster

I'm looking for one that will flash consistently, regardless of load. Ideally, I would like to get close to 2 flashes per second. Right now, mine is about one per second or slower, and at that, the 'on' time is shorter than the 'off' time; I figure, if someone glances at my signals before manuevering in traffic, there's a good chance they'll see it in the off mode.
I notice at the EL-12'a website, that the rate is shown as 60-120 per minute. Is that thing adjustable?:

Not adjustable. I never timed mine, but it's probably arond 100/minute. Before I switched, I think they were blinking at about 10/minute.

See your signal?
See your bike and signal?
See you, your bike, and signal?
HA HA
Unless the guy in the car rides, chances are real good that he doesn't see anything smaller than the car he is in.

I have the same problem, slow flashing('77 KZ650).
After reading this thread, I'm a little confused; do I need a Heavy Duty flasher or an electronic flasher? Or are they one and the same?
A "Heavy Duty" flasher *IS* an "electronic flasher".
Does that help?

Not necessarily. When I bought my electronic flasher, I saw another one that looked just like the one I already had on my bike (short, silver metal case), and the price was only $4.00. It had "Heavy Duty" stamped on it, but I don't think it was the same kind of setup as the electronic one I bought for $10. I may be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.
FWIW, the one I bought had a transparent casing, and I could see the circuit board inside.

Do you remember where you got that one? I like see-thru electronics. If you have a model #, that'd be great!
Thanks
I am not at home right now to check for sure, but I know that it is a Bussman flasher.
Go to this link: www.bussmann.com/library/docs/Buss_Auto-Fuse.pdf
Scroll to page 18 of the PDF, and look at part number 232. It is similar to that.
What is nice is that it's round shape allowed me to slip it into the orginal rubber strap.

A note to anyone doing this; the orange wire goes to the X, brown goes to L.
Thanks to all..
