DYNA S W/ STOCK COILS was created by woodyskz
CAN I REPLACE MY POINTS IGNITION W/ THE "DYNA S" IGNITION, AND STILL RUN THE STOCK KAW COILS ? '77 KZ650.

Yes, as long as they have a primary resistance of 2.5 to 3.5 ohms.

3.0 ohms is the minimum recommended by Dyna. 2.5 ohms would stress the Dyna S. It may still work, though.
The stock points-coils are around 4 ohms so it shouldn't be a problem.
