I don't know if the kill switch can handle full current for the whole bike. If you eliminate the key switch and want to use just the kill switch, it would take a relay. My friend did this on his KZ400 and it was pretty cool. He put the main fuse under the seat, so if he really wanted no one to turn the bike on, he would pull the main fuse. Then the kill switch was also the main switch.
I can draw that up, or draw it with no relay and you can see if the kill switch will handle it.

... i have a 1980 kz750-B2(twin)...
I don't think there was a KZ750 B2 twin in 1980. It would be a 1977 B2 or 1980 G1 twin or something else.
The B2 and G1 are significantly different electrically, so I'd need to know the exact model.

Or is that all G frames came with the B motors?
For example, all KZ550C frames came with KZ550A motors.
Also, the KZ650C frames came with KZ650B motors.
If Kawasaki fitted a B motor into the G frame, we need to follow the G wiring diagram.
But if you think the B motor was installed as a replacement for a G motor by a previous owner, then we need to follow the B wiring if he also replaced the charging system. If not, then we probably still have to follow the G wiring.
I'm afraid I just don't know enough about the 750 twins to know which is more likely. However, can you describe the charging system? Is there a seperate regulator and rectifier?
On the alternator cover, are there three philips head screws in a triangle shape?

That regulator, looks to me like a combo regulator/rectifier, which is what should be on the G1. The starter relay looks a little strange to me, but I don't know the 750 twin very well. The starter relay should have the battery cable going to it. It should also have the heavy cable going to the starter.
I would post a seperate thread asking about the starter relay ID. Someone with more 750 twin knowledge will chime in.
Here's what I have so far. The relay is a standard auto relay you should be able to get at most parts stores.

You've really helped a lot of people in this thread. I was wondering if you have a little extra time for me? I've got a 78 KZ650 C2 and found the following wiring diagram:
diagrams.kz650.info/wiring/images/KZ650-B2,C2.jpg
That's helpful, but I'm planning on cutting out a lot and having only the following:
-No ignition, no indicators, no horn, no speedo, no tach, no hazards
-Yes to headlight (with hi/lo), taillight, and turn signals
-A hidden on/off switch
-A hidden starter switch
Would you mind creating a bare bones diagram for this? I would really appreciate it!
