Downed last night.. was created by TheDevilZX
To give you a quick reference, my throttle's return doesn't activate anymore, i have to sling it back to place to kill the gas.

Well, last night i hit a patch of sand, and was ready to correct when my gas stuck and kept revving higher and higher "MUST get this fixed.." of course, i wiped out and skid about 15 feet, luckily only my hand got caught under and i got a mere scrape and sprain..

My handlebars are bent to hell, and the fuse going to my coils keep blowing, i've tried using a 10 amp, and a 20, they keep busting on ignition. Maybe when it laid down, a wire was crimped and grounding out? Also.. at high speeds it acts as if im depleted on gas, it keeps sputtering when i give it more and if i give it too much it almost dies completely.. Maybe carbs were thrown out of tune?

What do you fella's recommend?

Bummer dude, at least it sounds like you'll be OK. The sputtering at high RPM sounds like a low battery to me.

Don't keep wasting fuses. You have a short somewhere. Fix that before blowing another fuse. And don't use any fuse with a higher rating than what comes standard.

I would start with the wires in you handlebar.

A couple weeks ago when I laid my bike down, after I got up, the bike had no power. The throttle control had been twisted around causing the wires to short. My main fuse had blown. I was able to get it running again by twisting the control unit back to its normal position, and replaced the main fuse.

Bummer, not much fun laying a bike down.

Before I would take it out again I would fix what ever the problem is with the return, weather bad cables or in the carbs, Fix it .

if its blowing the main fuse youi are going to have to get a wiring diagram and chase each wire down to see which one is bad, I would suspect something in the handle bar / ignition swithch area, but you never can tell

I'm confused...
at high speed, it acts like it's out of gas.
But since the crash, you can't keep your coil fuse from blowing. So how are you getting to high speed?
Are you riding with bent up handlebars - at high speed?
Was it running bad before the crash?
Like Skyman says, you've got a short somewhere, causing your fuse to blow.
