Dyna ignition was created by ricerocket
I bought a dyna ignition did not come with instructions
Question how do i get my ignition plate off got the plate off but there is a nut,And when i try to remove it it turns the engine over but i need to take it off to fit the new doohickey.that spins.Any one now were there is instructions i need help.

If I understand you correctly, the (17mm) nut your are turning is on the end of the crank shaft. There should be a 14mm nut on the end of that, which will come out.
That's how it is on my 650 anyway.

Hold the 17mm nut with a wrench and then remove 13-14mm small nut on end.

I installed the dyna ignition and i am hearing a ping or clicking does not get louder when i rev it.I spoke with a mechanic and he said my timing might be to advanced.
Any thoughtsplease also installed an oil cooler bike now holds almost 5 liters 4.7 to be exact.Runs alot cooler.

u likely have the timing set at 40* .u could try 39 or 38. also check with a timming light to see if the advancer is advancing the timming to the proper degrees at the proper time. the springs are known to get week with heat over time. this will alow the timing to advance earlier and more.
