Putting pulse coil and igniter on older bike

Thanks for any info. You don't know how much i have learned from this site since I got this bike last fall.

If you use one out of a later model 650 or 750, you don't have to make the backing plate smaller like I had to.

The hardest part for me was studying a wiring diagram from an electronic model bike to make sure I had everything wired right, but it's not a big deal overall. Probably paid $70 for everything but you can get the parts cheaper on ebay.

is the dyna-s really any better than the kawasaki stuff? cause it seems pretty pricey for just an ignition system

When the pulse coil goes on, do you set the timing similar to setting up a Dyna or is there no adjustment at all?

i was all ready to make one of your GM hei ignitors Lou, but it just happened to look at ebay one more time and someone had a ignitor with a 9.95 buy it now. when it goes i will make one of yours.

Lou has posted previously that in his opinion the stock KZ electronic ignition is better, and I agree.
