Key off & out, kill switch off????? was created by BARNEYHYPHEN
Just got back from running an errand. Put the bike on the side stand and turned the key counterclockwise to the off position, removed key, pushed kill switch to the off position. Engine stopped BUT.....
Neutral light and red oil light remained on and bright????
Only way I could get them to go out was to remove the main fuse.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

I guess its plausible that you have a bad ignition switch. It could have shorted out. Have you tried starting the bike with the key off/out?
If it turns over with the key off/out try moving the kill switch to off and try again.
You should be able to narrow down where the short is.

Thanks for the guidence.
Strangely enough, it only happened for one day (three times) when the temperature was 101 degrees. Hasn't happened today yet?
I'll do some work on it over the weekend and report back. Thanks.
