Missing part ? was created by McGregor
I have two female connectors, and nothing between them. They are located under the seat, right under a tool compartment.
What they are for?
Maybe something was bypassed?

The one on the left(blk/yl) is a ground.
Do You have rear signals hooked up,or have You done any mods to any of the lighting?

I have a couple of unconnected connectors under my gas tank. I think this can be normal and expect that they were used when wired for other countries or other models. I've heard others say the same.

Where are you located McGregor ? Looks like a union jack in your avatar.
You say that when you turn on the ignition both turn signals come on. Does each one also flash when you use as a turn signal ? This would be normal in the US there they are both running lights and turn signals.

Yes,exactly...the front lights ARE running-lights as WELL as signal-lights.They will be on when the ignition is on,but the rear lights are ONLY signal-lights,and will only come on when there is power supplied to them, via the turn signal switch.

There may have been some hard luggage-bags on the bike at one time, that had signal-lights attached...maybe?

Does any of the wiring in that area look like it's been chopped and/or spliced at all?

Yes, you absolutely right, each one flashes when I use turn signal:ohmy:
So, I think my situation is't that bad, I just look at it from wrong perspective :)
Thanks a lot, JR and Sandy.

Those wires your talking about are nothing but accesory wires. For hooking up extra electrical stuff.

Thank you, violentvintagecycles.
One question is answered, so I'll dig further, because I still cannot start her.
It's good to be here.

Just confirming what the others have said; the one on left is an extra ground, the one one the right is for rear signals (greyish/taupish color). I have a 1981 KZ1000 CSR and have the exact same wires hanging there. My guess was the OEM standardized the wiring harness and these were for an option, quite possibly hard bags.

I'm going to modify my rear signals to serve as running lights just like the front ones. I just would like additional lighting in my tail when driving at night time. I plan on connecting to the two blue wires in headlight and run them back to rear. Now I just need to find some nice three-wire lights...
