Is it possible? I have this Vetter fairing on this 82 KZ1000, but I can't get the signals to work right- anyone know how the hell to fix this? Very agravating- We can get one side to blink, or the other- but the running lights and blinkers won't work right.
IF it is originally a 3 wire set up, and the fairing has a two wire set up- could that be it? If so, how do you fix it?

Check the bulbs in the fairing. If they have 2 filaments you have to run a separate ground to it to make them work, one filament is for the turn one for the parking lite. Then you have to figure out the wires on the original to hook to them. If the fairing has single filament bulbs, then you just use turn signal wire and the ground off the original harness.
If you look at the back of the socket on the fairing and one of the wires connects to the frame of the socket, that is the ground wire.

this is going to depend on which faring you have, some were set up to have the running lights/ turn signals wored on all the time, most only used them as signals
