I was looking for a "Trading Post" forum but couldn't find one so I'm posting here. Sorry if this is the wrong place...
I've got a 1983 Spectre 550 and the speedo is not working but the odometer and trip are still counting the miles. I know the cable is fine, I already checked it, so it has to be something internal to the speedo.
Anyone have an extra speedometer laying around they would like to part with for a reasonable price?
Failing that, anyone know if I can use a speedo from another year or model? Finding parts for the 550 Spectre isn't easy, guess it wasn't as popular as its larger siblings. I keep searching eBay every day or two but so far have only found speedos for 750's and 1100's.
Any help would be very appreciated.
