Fellas, I have a 77 kz1000 ltd with the stock carbs on it. Rebuilt them, put them on the bike and my cylinder 1 isn't working. Put compression tester in, left plug on motor, good spark, 125 lbs compression.
Drained fuel from bowl so I know it's getting in there. Let it run for a few minutes, hit the throttle and then all of a sudden cylinder 1 came to life. If I wait a bit, it'll be like a process reset.
Now I know my brain goes to the warming up expanded or sealed something but there were times I ran this thing for a while, no change. Not sure if the brap on the throttle did it. I didn't do float test because every time I have gas in there. I could take out my pilot and see what's up with that but what else am I missing?
