I am refurbishing a GPZ1100A1 1983 engine to replace the 1981 B1 motor in my modified GPZ. The engine covers have been bead blasted and the alternator and electronic points covers have genuine aluminium (Aust) labels which have minor scratches so I bought some stickers from the UK to replace them BUT how do I remove the old ones they appear to be really stuck on hard?.

Have you tried heat, to soften the adhesive?
