Seriously? Don't the coils need to be grounded via their mounting posts?...FYI there is no electrical connection between the coil and the bracket or the frame ( only "heat transfer")

If the coil wire colors are correct, that means the rotor is on 180 degrees off. It's easy to do.

Thinking at Nessism comment, I told myself "why not invert the coils's wires. Naah, it won't work as the right colors are on the right coils". Having nothing to loose, I did so. And the engine started RIGHT AWAY!! What a relief. I don't know why I had to invert the wires but I'm so glad that I don't really care by now.
Once again, thanks a lot for every comment!! I really appreciate!

No, the primary winding grounds through the points/igniter module (switching the ground is what makes the spark) the secondary winding grounds through the spark plugs to the engine on a dual output coil or shares the ground via the points/igniter on a single out coil. The mounting tower simply dissipates the heat generated to stop the coil burning out

He said his green wire is on 1/4
My 82 1100 shows black to 1/4 and green to 2/3
Unsure if they differ on yours
