GPz 750 carbs?

Does anyone know if a set of GPz 750 carbs will fit on a GPz 1100? I am thinking about changing my 1100 from fuel injection to carbs and looking for a good set of carbs.

They will be a real loose fit in the manifolds (carb holders), carbs off a J model 1000 would probably be your best bet.

Sell me your GPz1100 fuel pump and throttlebodies

I don't understand why you would want to remove an EFI system and install carbs, I think a MegaSquirt EFI controller would be cheaper and a lot better
No comparison between the two when it comes to tuning.

Agreed. If it ain't broke... However, if you are having FI trouble, then I understand. If you ever decide to sell your B2, conversion to carbs will negatively impact your resale value. If you do convert to carbs and there is nothing wrong with the FI, save all the systems and sell with the bike...this will help retain a higher resale.

Ver 2.2 is ~$140 or so in kit form, and it normally takes 2-3 hours and a soldering iron to assemble it.
I think it's $250 - $300 assembled.

Whoops, prices have dropped, $134 for the kit and $240 for the assembled MegaSquirt I, and that one does all you need.

I'd be a lot closer to completion if I had the throttlebodies off your GPz1100 :evil: :evil:

My garage is unheated so I stopped work over the winter, weather is starting to warm up so I have to get caught up on everything else before I can get back to the bikes. And I have a "lot" of catching up to do

I have a 750 twin and a GPz750 that will have MS installed, the 750 twin is a GPz750 twin (more or less):laugh:
750 Twin with GPz750 front and monoshock rear with GPz900 bodywork. I figured since I had all the parts to do it, then why not?

Reliability? I believe there are some with the original MS that have over 30k miles on it with no problems.
I know MS has been installed on Garden Tractors, farm tractors, lawn mowers, snowmobiles, cars, trucks, Jeeps, motorcycles, and probably more that I have not heard of. I know one guy went 313 mph in a motorcycle streamliner with MS at Bonneville. And I recall seeing pics of a GPz1100 with MS, plus other Kawasaki's. It's been available for ~4 years now, and been featured in CarCraft and Grass Roots Motorsports magazines. Read the MS Info site, tons of good reading there.
