if there are more than one carb, they need syncronizing because you want the mixture to be the same on all cylinders.

I thought the manifold vacuum took care of making sure that each cylinder got exactly what it needed. I've never touched a CV carb, though.

I have to get on the Internet almost every day as part of my business... I will be taking the missus out for dinner this evening hehe Be a nice evening to take a bike ride I think.
As far as CV carbs, vacuum diaphragms are very sensitive to differences in vacuum in each cylinder. Since each cylinder has a slightly different amount of compression, each cylinder will generate different amounts of engine vacuum and this must be compensated for...
