Say it ain't so Joe!!! No more Moto GP races at Laguna Seca??

I hope that is not true. But yet they are going to keep racing at Indy's mickey mouse circuit.

What happened, all the foreign riders don't like racing on a real man's track.

Wonder what they would have said about the original Road Atlanta layout!!!

Sad that it comes down to the almighty dollar.

IMS might a famous oval track, but it downright sucks as a road course.

Give me Laguna Seca, Road America, or Road Atlanta if you want to see a REAL road course!!!

Do they bus you in to the premises like they do for the Formula 1 race??

I like being able to drive MY car to the race track, not park 25 miles away and be bused in.

Bring my cooler, and my grill to the track that way I don't have to buy their 9 dollar beer, or
their 6 dollar bottle of water!!!

Thats what I always liked about Road America. Park close to the track with your car, and watch
the race from there. I could never understand why people pay big money to sit in a grandstand
on the middle of a long straightaway at a road course.

Give me a spot by the fence with a beer in one hand and a brat in the other and be able to
watch a few good corners I am one happy camper. If you have ever sat behind or next to
someone in a grandstand that has to get up and leave their seats every 3 laps or so you know
what I mean!!!!

Dr Gamma it depend's on the ticket you get and if you pay for the
parkin pass.

When we went we had main Grandstand seat's about
50 yard's before the start line and the car parked just out side the gate so good seat's
Also our ticket's had the PSL stamp that let us sit in any empty seat there.
In and out to the car for a beer all day wondering around the hole track.

There has been much talk of this Marquez kid lately and the fact that he is setting the bar higher than years past, dragging his elbows and all. Have you seen Bradl? Sure it's on the high curbs at Catalunya, but dammit!
