KZ1000 dragbike project with spare Z1 engine. was created by Fox Mulder
Time to unload some iron!
1978 KZ1000 frame, no title. Set up with wheely bars. Whole Z1 engine together, has been stored inside. KZ1000 engine with top end off, also stored inside. VM29 smoothbores, again stored inside. Has tank & tail. Seat? Maybe.
Also a KZ650 frame, no title. GPZ550 suspension. Another KZ1000 bottom end but that one has been outside. Two KZ1000 headers.
Probably a bunch I’m forgetting but thats the main bits. Haul it all off!
I am located in central Kansas & will help you load it all. Text or call 620-504-4594 for more info & pics. Thanks.
$1500

There are 2 guys I know of here that look at this forum. Both in Kansas, 1 is in Paola, other in Topeka.
Honestly 1/3 to 1/2 would be scrap to them. Carbs, header, engine parts might sell.
I've been round here a long time. Been selling on eBay for 23 years.
Not much is selling anymore! And what does? Prices are down!
Even "oinkjohnsons" prices are down, except for nice Drag Bike parts.
I could pass your # on to these 2.

Yeah I’m sure a bunch of this is probably considered junk. Just got to get it in front of someone into KZs, then I’ll toss the rest.
I feel the engines & carbs & a few other bits are worth it, correct me if I am wrong.
You’re right, its a tough market to sell in right now. I’m always dealing something on the side & most everybody is broke right now.

Those 29mm smoothbore carbs regularly sell for $1000 or more on eBay. I definitely recommend you post those on eBay and see what you can get for them. They are easy to ship relative to the rest of your parts.

Ditto DOHC's comment on the carbs. But.. might check the emulsion tube, where the main jet screws into. Soo many times i have seen the tubes over-tightened and stripped the casting threads in the slide block.
