Tyre pump for where there's little space was created by Michi
Anyone got any recommendations for a tyre inflator where there's little space for the nozzle? Most of them these days seem to be flip-up types (you flip up a lever and it clamps down on the valve). I've got 2 of them: a good bicycle pump, and a 12V DC (car type) compressor. Problem I've got it, the nozzles are too big for the rear tyre on my KZ440 LTD project. No chance to flip up the lever, and in one case no way to fit the nozzle onto the valve in the first place. So I need to get another one. As you will be aware if you have an LTD, there isn't much space between the valve and the centre of the rim (housing the drum brake). If you've got an LTD and you know which inflator can be used for the rear tyre, a pointer on Ebay or something would be great. Thanks

Aka a push-on compressor line. Sure, that would work too. Just haven't got one. I've got a car cigarette-lighter-powered inflator, and a freestanding bicycle pump. I don't mind buying stuff, but the angled adaptor makes more sense as I'm pressed for space.

For a quick fix, that 90 degree adaptor should do the trick. But it does provide another junction for an air leak. The next time you replace tires, put in 90 degree valve stems.

I bought a cheap Harbor Freight pump that works with a KZ440 rear.
Problem is...they don't make that pump anymore.
You could do a google search for replacement bike pump heads.
