Id recommend it for ease alone. Way easier that having someone hold the brake or any of that stuff. Takes maybe an hour to make out of a couple bolts and nuts welded to some 3/8 plate steel (that's what I used anyways). Took me about 10 seconds to take that bolt off with the tool. I can provide measurements if needed.

awesome, when ever you get to it that would be cool. I'll save them for the just in case. Rather have them and be ready to fab than to have to research and then fab. Much appreciated . But when ever you get to it.

82' KZ750-R1 cafe racer style. Clip-on, Rear set, Fork-Brace, Mikuni Flat-slide (forgot the size), Kerker.
84' GPz750 (basket case). everything are in pieces.
89' ZX750-H1 (ZX-7 Ninja). Resurrection project are on going with my KZ750. Everything is stock.

I ground the threads off of the end of the bolts so I didn't damage the rotor. I used 3/8 plate steel and 3/8-16 nuts and bolts. Id also extend the width of it by .125"-.25", it was just enough to get around my rotor, but the bottom nut hangs off the arm by about that much. Excuse the sloppy welds and sorry if the pictures are poor. Rear camera on my phone decided to bite it today.
