Tank stand was created by bluej58
I posted this years ago but we have a bunch of new folks that have joined so here it is again.
Simple to make and it works for the kz650 and 1000, I'm not sure about any other tanks
The tank rests on the 2x6 and are locked in by the tanks bottom lip and won't slide forward or backwards, very stable even with a full tank of gas.

Heres the one I made. An old stand from a drum kit and some blocks of wood. It worked very well for painting, though I wouldnt use it with a tank full of fuel.

I have a good bicycle repair stand that I use for stuff like this. It's pretty robust.
