I'm trying to find the original manual for my bike. Since there are varying difference between the models in a same year, can anyone point me to which one is the one that would suit my '79 KZ650(D2) SR? An ebay/web link would be appreciated. Thanks

KZ650-B2A; B3; B4; C3; C4; D1; D2; D3; E1; F1 note: the part number would be on the back cover & there's usually a model application chart there as well. I've seen both of the above part numbers on the back cover, so I'm not sure if one is a Kawasaki typo or what. ???back cover.
If you have a US model 1979 KZ650-D2 the manual that includes your bike is #99924-1007-03. This has a picture of a green B3 on the front cover. You can check the back cover of Kawasaki Part #99924-1007-02 to see if it also includes the D2. I am 99.999% sure that it does, but I don't have the manual in hand to verify.
If you have a NON-US model 1979 KZ650-D2 the manual that includes your bike is Kawasaki Part #99924-1001-03. This manual has a picture of a red B1 on the front cover.
I HIGHLY recommend you get the Kawasaki Service Manual that includes your exact model.
