Blast Cabinet SODA, PLASTIC or GLASS ?? was created by 4TheKZ1000
Hello forum,

I just purchased a blast cabinet tonight. I am a novice with the tool and blast media.

If you blast with plastic, can you remove paint, carbon, rust and other crap as with soda?

Also with the plastic, is there dust or debris created like with Soda?

I'm trying to reduce if not eliminate the mess, and keep a clean environment.. Is plastic an option?

The dust and debris come from both the media and the crap you're removing from the part.

Dust and debris just go with the job, a good vacuum on a blast cabinet works wonders though.
