Seeking help with building a toolkit for '81 KZ550 was created by dstrns
Hi All,
I'd like to get a toolkit/roadkit for my 1981 KZ550 LTD as the original one is missing. Do you guys have any recommendations, either for an off the shelf kit or a custom one you've built up? If you have a custom one I'd love to see a list of what you've got in it to help me shop!
Thanks!

The KZ550 may have had some differences, but here's what came in the stock KZ650-C1 tool kit. I added a tiny 1 cell AAA Maglite Solitaire flashlight. Ed

Thanks for posting that Ed....I have a kit with everything on there for my 650 even the feeler gauge (never used) but what is that tongue depressor looking tool second from the left for?

I may be wrong but think it is used as a T-handle for the spark plug wrench.

It can be hooked to the end of the screwdriver bits to provide extra torque. Notice the very ends of those bits aren't round. (see pic). That feeler gauge is .35mm and is used to set the ignition points gap. There should be a little pocket on the back of the pouch to hold it. Don't lose it; they are really quite scarce. Ed
