Best manual? was created by Cmac12587
I'm looking to buy a manual for my bike. Which one would anyone recommend, specifically with good details to rebulding the carbs?

IMHO the only really decent manual is the Kawasaki Service Manual. It has more useful information than Haynes, Clymers, Chilton, or Elmer Fudd's manuals. They normally are available on eBay; just be sure to get one for your exact year & model bike as there are differences between models. Also, it would be good if you add your bike's year & model to your signature line. That way we can help you find stuff. Ed

Thanks for the info! I will add my info, even though i dont think all the parts are year correct on my bike, thus figuring out what i need for it has been a little frustrating. In essence i have a frame with a February of 77 manufacture date on the neck, and a 900 motor with what i find to be the 28mm Mikuni's from 75 to 76. If what i've figured out seems correct, i would have to assume (by the numbers) that I have a KZ1000 LTD frame with an older 900cc drivetrain. It does have dual front brakes and single disc in the back, which i'm led to believe that rear disc was not offered on the KZ900's?

The 1976 KZ900-B1 (LTD) came with a rear disk brake; other KZ900's had drum brakes in the back. Ed
