The only costs were the casters and the GFI.
Right now it's in my walk out basement next to the bike but I can wheel it out to work on stuff in the drive way and stash it in the garage when I'm done.

GFI Ground Fault Interrupter?
On a side note -- and without having ever reasoned exactly why -- my vise has always been attached to the front left side of the bench top. :S
Good Fortune!

Or maybe you have a fear of falling off the end of your bench while youre working, this according to Dr Sigmund Rocks new book:Im nutz, but its ok!

Pete I don't think you really want me to work on anything of yours, I just do my stuff out of necessity because I can't afford to pay anyone else to screw it up for me :silly:
I have been thinking about making a ramp system that flips up horizontally and can be broken down and stored away, stay tuned.
Yes it has a 20 amp ground fault system and I just thought that the vise looked good over there ,it also rotates 90 deg to the front .
I got the idea from a cabinet shop that I work at part time, everything is on wheels .
Everything is glued / screwed and solid as all get out, the casters are only rated to 880 lbs combined, I wish they were beefier but it was all I could get that day and should hold up if I'm careful.
It took about 2 1/2 sheets of 3/4 plywood to make.
