Try to upload a couple pics here, I have about ten minutes wrapped up in making and using the blaster, and as a bonus the overspray went into my pool (intentionally, to raise alkalinity). Only downside is that my pool deck looks like things got a little crazy around here this weekend!

Mine:

04 GSXR 750(bolt on galore)
98 CBR 600F3(filter, pipe, adjustable cam sprokets, dyno tune)
76 KZ900A (LTD gauge pods, crash bars, LTD(style)pipes, dyna coils and ignition, headwork and mild port cleanup by cavanaugh racing, K&N filter pods, heck I dunno.

Looks better, but now you have abrasive soda in all of you intricate carb areas. You will need to clean a lot more than just the outside of them.

Yep, they are currently apart for that. Water disolves it rather quickly.

I've been wanting to soda blast my engine, could you explain how you constructed your blaster and what you used when you blasted with it.

Thats pretty amazing how it blasts like a sandblaster without damaging the part. Can you blast your engine like that if its still in the bike? Do you run the risk of anything getting inside the engine?

You can do your engine still in the frame, you just have to really seal up the intake or any openings. The soda WILL NOT remove grease/dirt only light paint over spray and stains in the aluminum. You have to wash your bike thoroughly when you're done....then wash it again....and maybe once more.

Don't blast painted areas either.

Here's my setup, pretty much identical to Tomolu5's. I have a thick piece of rigid wire taped near the bottom to keep the hose straight and break up clumps in the box.
