Unwrapped lines will act like a slow speed file when rubbing against electrical wires,fuel lines, paint and other brake lines.
It may not look cool with covered lines,but the other parts will thank you.

When replacing your rubber brakes line with the Teflon ones with the SS braiding,you should wrap them with the black plastic spiral wrap that's available in the U.S. from Radio Shack.I'd imagine electrical supply houses will carry it too. I've found 1/4" spiral wrap fits nicely on brake lines.
