'81 KZ750H Air Suction Removal?? was created by SnyperX
So I continue work on my '81 KZ750H. When I got the bike the carbs, air suction system, and starter coils were off the bike. I have since rebuilt the carbs. Can I trash (leave off) the air suction system as long as I have a hose connecting the reed valves and I put barb plugs on the carbs where needed?

Connecting the two air ports is one way. Installing block off plates, such as APE, is another.
And yes, block off all unused vacuum ports on the carbs.

Airbox is coming out as I will be running K&N pods and have the carbs re-jetted. In addition I am adding a breather filter. Should be a pretty clean look when done.also the airbox port.
