You can try snuggling up the screws a bit, but be careful not to crack the white plastic part. I bet it is time to rebuild the percock. All the rubber bits eventually deteriorate. It is not a difficult job. Seems like there is a good tutorial in the Filebase or the Articles section of KZR. One often overlooked bit is to insure the seat for the oring is spotless and free of pits. A light polishing of it will help insure trouble free operation.

Your kind of fuel hose clamps will damage (tend to tighten too much) the fuel line sooner or later!

As suggested, try all. But..that looks pretty clean for an original TK petcock? Is it aftermarket? If so rebuilding it would be futile. Outwardly they seem like a simple device but the castings DEMAND a certain protrusion length and diameter of o-ringed shaft off the metering side of diaphragm. So purchasing a "rebuild" kit would certainly be a gamble if it's not an original TK because of those unknown perimeters. And appears yours is indeed leaking off the metering side.

I appreciate your close observation. It is a custom job so it's most likely aftermarket. Dunno about the clamps but it is something I wasn't aware of so will take it under advisement. I've had a couple people tell me it's an easy fix and I ought to just replace the whole piece. Still considering my move. But yeah, you can see where it leaks. Guess I'd go about it by draining the tank, then removing the petcock after releasing it from the carbs n stuff. I'd be able to take it apart and look at it then. That's sort of my game plan when I get to it.
