Hi All,
have a few (3 to be exact) 1983 & 1984 GPz1100 bikes. I’m having a hard time finding the exhaust collars. Part number 92027-1447. The last couple of orders I have received have both been too shallow and won’t push the header all the way in.
Is there a good source (other than random ebay sellers) for these parts or a good workaround?
Erik

Thanks for the correction! I had a typo in my original post.
The part number I am looking for is: 92027-1457. Seems to be unavailable at all of the online part places. I’ve bought a couple from ebay, but keep getting the wrong part. Did Kawasaki use the same part number on different parts?

How much too short are they? Though have not done so I would think the fact they are split would allow them to work on many different exhaust systems. Unless there is something special about the 1100 system. You just need them to be long enough to push up tight. I would think one could make some out of pipe cut to length and then split.

I have 76-78 Kz collars I can measure for you to see if they will fit. I’ll work on that later this afternoon for you

No, they may use the same part number on different models (see list in my post) but it will be the same part used across the rangeThanks for the correction! I had a typo in my original post.

If you know anybody with access to a lathe you could bet some knocked out (I made mine from thick walled alloy tube then cut them in half)
