I lubed the cam when installing but I also lubed the piston when installing did I already fuck up big time? I am indeed new to this and completely obvious, iv built tons of go karts but never worked on a engine this big so I have a basic understanding. Pardon me for my negligence.

Am I to take it apart and empty the oil from the piston, damn I fucked up eh

I just read up on what I did, fucking hell man

Where do I go from here? Take out the engine and get out as much as I can?
Take the spark plug out and spin the motor on the starter (once working) this will blow out the excess (will be messy) then re-fit the plug, if you are lucky there is no lasting damage. - will be smokey for a while
Just out of interest how much oil did you put in there ?

I put it on the walls before installing the piston and before I put the top half on there wasn't any oil on top of the piston, I'm a bit confused on weather I fucked up bad or not but I put about 3/4 teaspoons and it went into the crankcase I think.

Once again sorry if I sound stupid

If you only oiled the cylinder wall and not on top of the piston you are fine (this was the right thing to do) worth checking the oil level isn't overfilled. Can you turn the engine manually with the spark plug removed ?

I can turn it manually! But great

Update; it was indeed the battery but now my compression test is saying 90psi

I just replaced head gaskets, left, right, cam and a bunch more gaskets where am I losing that much pressure?

The battery voltage is around 8-9V when I push it down!

Do the compression test again with carburator in full throttle position.

It reads 100psi with throttle fully open? Normal after a gasket replacement and it hasn't run in 4 years or is it low? Where or how could I check where is using pressure? I just replaced almost every gasket
