So I have a 1980/81 (not sure) kz250 LTD I have to ripped apart with new gaskets ready to do on but I'm planning on using a tiny thin layer of gasket maker as well as the new gaskets to make a better seal as the last owner messed with it and I see some tiny razor marks.

My question is what and where do I use high heat apose to normal?

I know on the hear gaskets to use high heat but what around the left side (alternator) or the right side (oil filters and such)

Thanks so much

It´s not nessesary to use any kind of gasket maker on new gaskets.
Only if you are in the situation you have to use the old/used gasket again.

If you are going to use the gasket maker, use the high heat one, it will work in either situation .  No reason to have 2 different partial tubes on the shelf.
