Oil drain plug o ring?

Hello everyone, to start I have a 81 kz440d1 belt and am curious if it has an oil drain plug o ring and or o ring for the oil filter, I know other kzs with my engine size have them but when doing my first oil change there was only a gasket for the oil filter and a washer for the oil drain plug. Is this normal? Or should it be sealed? Pic for reference

There is an O-ring for the oil filter cover, and a sealing crush washer for the drain plug.
