This question will be for our European and maybe Australian members, as I believe the 250 twins were never brought to the U.S.

These were quite rare in the UK (the offerings from Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki were more popular) At that time 250 was the biggest you could ride on "L" plates so were usually a stepping stone- to pass your test and move onto something bigger. When the law changed to 125cc for learners there was no market for 250's so many ended up in the scrap (I had a CB250T Honda that I struggled to give away !!)This question will be for our European and maybe Australian members, as I believe the 250 twins were never brought to the U.S.

A 305 engine/parts would be a performance upgrade.
