I could blame the FSM for not being more specific, but I won't because they are really written for people who already know what they are doing. If I was writing it I would have said "install the gasket with the wider side of the grommets up, and the larger corner holes toward the rear"Total respect for your transparency - we all get it wrong sometimes
This would have made it impossible to do wrong.
