KZ1000p throttle won't turn

Hi guys, looking for some more help.  I have a 1995 KZ1000p and I can't get the throttle to move at all.  I tried adjusting the throttle cable play, but no matter where I set it, the throttle won't budge.  Has anyone run into this before?  Is there an easy fix or am I going to have to get a new throttle body?  Thanks!

Have to ask, did you switch/reversed the open and close cable eventually?

That is a great question that I would answer if I had any idea what you said means.  

If it were my bike I'd first remove the gas tank, trace the throttle cables, disconnect the cable at the carbs to see if the throttle shafts moves, etc, etc.  In other words, do some basic troubleshooting.

When it won't move it's one of two things, the cables are crossed or the throttle shaft is seized.

Has the bike been sitting long,are things rusty? Like previous post say it's time to dive in,start the diagnosis.
