Neutral position switch for Z1 was created by Robb2018
Does anyone know if the Z1 takes the same neutral position switch as the KZ900 and KZ1000?

I believe the KZ switch will work but they are different. The body of the switch is plastic on the Z1A I am currently working on.

Just bought the one from Z1Ent. I saw that plastic one on Ebay. They're asking 100 bucks for it... whores.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Yes, although there are a couple of versions of it. One uses a male/female connector. Another uses a tiny JIS screw to hold the wire in place...similar to the oil pressure switch.

We're seeing that the original plastic ones are tending to crack from age & heat, just sitting in place without being disturbed. The metal ones that supersede the plastic switches have a different connector (ring vs bullet) as mentioned by hardrockminer, but it's a simple crimp-ring mod that can't easily be seen.
