custom eshaust on kz550

I am looking for some info on custom exhaust for a KZ550 LTD. My bike is a bobber project and I am looking for some turn outs or slash cut mufflers. I know I will have to rejet but is there any other advice, any pictures of bikes set up like this. I have found HD turn outs on ebay super cheap. 1 3/4" pipe fitting. Should fit just have to mount them. Any ideas?
