kz400 push rod seal was created by shootanappleoffmyhead
Hi Guys,
The other day my 77 kz 400 started leaking oil from the clutch push rod seal. This happened after my chain snapped and somehow slightly bent the push rod.
2 things.
1. How in hell do I get the seal out? I've tried everything but dynamite (only because I've run out )
2. Does anyone know what part number it is and where i could get both a push rod and seal for a 77 Kz400 s3?
Thanks!

Part is no longer available. Post a pic. There is a fix using a valve guide seal.

Here's one. They're in New Zealand, but I've bought from them before and was pleased. Ed

Thanks guys. Ok, I've got the replacement parts lined up. I'll probably end up just using 1/4" stainless round stock for the push rod. Now that leaves me with one last thing... how to get the seal out. I've tried pulling it out w/ a needle nose, screwdriver, etc. Nothing works. It's really in there.
Here's a pic.
Thanks!
