Beautiful KZ Joe. B) I might know the guy with the Ducati Streetfighter, name isn't Kenny is it? Also might know the ZRX rider. Looks like he may be on the ZRXOA forum. Looks like a solid group. Glad you connected with them.

Thanks for providing the link, Forrest. Group rides are greatly enhanced once everyone learns to ride The Pace.

I took the Rex to a meet in Eureka Springs , Arkansas to ride with the zrxoa riders. A lot of them own other than ZRXS. There are some skilled riders and the less skilled (me) ride in the back and watch and learn.

It was amazing to watch some of the riders go through the twisties.

The pace is a good read and good rules to follow.

I would rather ride with fewer riders but don't mind riding in a larger group of skilled riders that have a route planned out and has good leaders.

I will stay in the back.

Thanks Forrest. The guy on the red Ducati's name is Eric, the guy that owns the ZRX his name is Kevin. I imagine they are from the Orlando area.

And thanks for posting the article. Very much enjoyed reading. Some very sound advise.

OMR, I can't believe the cop is stopping that guy simply for having his license plate mounted in the wrong spot, LOL.

Maybe the LEO is wanting to ask him where he can pick up a beautiful custom tail section for himself! Tell you what, no cager could say they did not see that motorcyclist! Gives "Start Seeing Motorcycles" a whole new meaning.

That could be a bad idea if the area (like the N GA mtns) has no cell phone coverage. I crashed up there one time with a group and broke my shoulder. There was no cell phone coverage where I crashed. If someone hadn't been with me....

North Georgia would not be nearly as dangerous for Tri as North Carolina. That'd be JonnyBravado's hide out.

I agree with koolaid_kid, riding in a smaller group is more fun, and it may also be a lot safer. I ride with two friends on most of my trips. We take long 300-500 mile rides every other weekend, and in between we ride on shorter trips. We know each other and I trust their riding, so it makes for more enjoyable riding and always feels safe/supportive.

I've riden with many different groups.
The last 5 years or so I usually meet up with people I know at a local Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group (CVMG).
Most are older than me, and are not too crazy, plus they ride similar bikes.
