i might be one of the cult members that look at it , they make great bobbers but that is about itThe Gringo wrote: What Roy said. I'm planning on being there not sure yet what I want to bring to sell. At the rate I've been selling bikes lately I might not have any left by then. I hope to have the XS650 Yamaha done by then since that is one bike I have no interest in keeping or even riding for that matter. There seems to be an almost cult-like following for those turds though.

This bike is almost too nice to turn into a bobber. It's an 81 with the mag wheels and only has 5700 miles on it. Still has the original tires on it. It needs a paint job done to it and some cleaning other than that it's pretty much ready to go. I've got a new battery ready to be juiced up and I've had it running on a jumper battery (thought it was going to vibrate my screened in porch apart) but that's pretty much the nature of the beast. I've actually seen some neat trackers built from these as well as a couple of trick cafe racers but they just shake too much and are too slow for my taste.

Here's some photos and a story from last year when Kawasaki was the featured marque, to get everyone in the mood for this year. If you've never been, it's a good time.
